Privacy Policy

This policy covers Zodl Zcash Tracker and zcashtracker.live.

Wallet input

When you press Check Wallet, the text you enter is sent to zcashtracker.live for validation. A valid public Zcash transparent address is then sent to SoChain to retrieve its confirmed balance, pending change and recent transactions. Invalid text is rejected before an address lookup. Enter a public address only; no recovery phrase or private key is needed.

Market price

The extension requests the public ZEC/USD price directly from SoChain. Kraken is a fallback if that request fails. These requests contain no wallet input. These services receive the browser's connection information, including its IP address. The server API also provides a separate price endpoint using these sources.

Storage and infrastructure

The application does not save submitted text, addresses or results to a database, files or persistent browser storage. Results remain in popup memory until it closes. The supplied website uses no application cookies, analytics or advertising scripts. Server, hosting or reverse-proxy logs may retain request metadata according to the operator's infrastructure settings.

External services

SoChain receives valid public addresses and the server's connection information for blockchain lookups. Clicking a transaction link opens SoChain directly. SoChain and Kraken apply their own privacy policies. Requests may be processed in a country different from yours.

Extension permissions

The extension can contact zcashtracker.live for wallet lookups, and SoChain and Kraken for prices. It writes an address to the clipboard only after you press Copy Address. It does not read the clipboard, access browsing history, run content scripts or poll in the background.

Your choices

Close the popup to clear the current result, or uninstall the extension. Public blockchain records cannot be removed by this service. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
